Hi and welcome to Tockes musik reviews, if you are wondering why i write in English it is because i have linked the blogg to my youtube page in the hope of getting at least ONE person to read it. It has been a long time since i wrote in the blogg but i will try to post something at least once a week if i have the time. Well lets not waste anymore time and get too it shall we?


This time i shall review an album by the band Alter Bridge. I had never heard about them before, and i still wouldn't know who they were if i hadn't gotten the record with my copy of Classic Rock, a great musik magazine if you didn't know. From what i have heard from this album, called "The Story So Far" they know how too write a catchy song, and they play their instruments very well. If I should compare them to some other great bands i would say they sound a bit like Korn without the growling or System Of A Down without the craziness. Now some people probably thinks that sound pretty great, but i don't. i sit and wait for growling to start, or for some crazy dude to scream in my ear about how his dick i so much bigger the mine (SOAD Cigaro, if you didnt get that) when i hear this sound, which make Alter Bridge normal hard rock/metal sound feel quite boring. But this doesn't mean that aren't good cuz they really are, and since this album only comes with the latest number of Classic Rock, you don't have to worry about buying a bad album cuz you will still have a great magazine too read.
